Yes, ...Gah! Blogger deleted my comment. Try again:

Yes, Higgs is awesome. :) But Higgs was awesome from the very first minute we met him and has only gotten more awesome since. I expect awesomeness from Higgs. For me, the best moment recently was far, far more subtle, and it was only awesome because of who did it: Moloch.

After being reluctantly dragged around by Agatha and the other sparks for the past few years worth of comics (heck, he was being dragged around by Klaus before that, and by his brother before that), protesting and complaining the entire way about how he doesn't want to be there, here he is for the very first time finally making a decision for himself, deciding to help Agatha of his own free will. And what he decides to do is fix this! And he doesn't even make a deal over it: "it's not brains tough, it's just hard work tough."

If he actually manages to fix it, I think he's going to be my new favorite character.

Oh, and for everyone pissed at Zola, re-reading this comic, then this one, can be very cathartic. Could you come pick up this incompetent? I'm afraid she's tracking fire all over the ward."
"Really? REALLY? You couldn't just kill her normally?"

Anyways, Zola should have burst into flames from all that Moveit. A sane conclusion to a character who had outstayed her welcome.

Also, Higgs/Zeetha. Squee begins to cover it, but only barely.Benhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03517657842744936929noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1334761054277672365.post-50353726934267997642011-03-11T17:06:35.163-05:002011-03-11T17:06:35.163-05:00Oh yes, Klaus is awesome and I am sure we will see...Oh yes, Klaus is awesome and I am sure we will see more of him.

Zola/other needs to die like yesterday.BeamStalkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17772110446629492132noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1334761054277672365.post-90759644893091636072011-03-11T16:53:44.651-05:002011-03-11T16:53:44.651-05:00I have to admit, I really love Klaus as a characte...I have to admit, I really love Klaus as a character. He's obviously some kind of very old construct; my money is on a pseudo-Jager, or possibly THE Jager-General (On of the first Jagers). He slips into the accent after Zeetha is stabbed by the pink girl (hatehatehate) and is generally unstoppable.
Also, the one thing I really can't wait for in this comic is for Agatha to purge the Other from her brain. She has the tools available right now, and she should use them. After dealing with the fire etc.
Lastly: Klaus, slaver wasp, etc. The Other Copies in the Hospital can't possibly control him; Agatha imprinted him to her. Further, he'll go into battle against her wearing fuzzy pink earmuffs, so he's immune. Because Klaus is supposed to be awesome, goshdarnit.Benhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03517657842744936929noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1334761054277672365.post-54146506855103825402011-03-11T11:23:30.903-05:002011-03-11T11:23:30.903-05:00Interestingly, Higgs knew about the Dyne water. It has been stated that the Heterodyne Boys did not know about Dyne water and had never seen the Movement Chamber, so when did Higgs, who looks all of 30-35, see the Dyne?PersonalFailurehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03034292023591747601noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1334761054277672365.post-73144000786756323782011-03-11T11:00:26.836-05:002011-03-11T11:00:26.836-05:00Yeah I just went back and looked it up, you are co...Yeah I just went back and looked it up, you are correct.BeamStalkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17772110446629492132noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1334761054277672365.post-4564169650001829682011-03-11T10:36:39.629-05:002011-03-11T10:36:39.629-05:00I think it would be more accurate to say the jaege...I think it would be more accurate to say the jaegers are descended from the Heterodynes. The original Heterodyne (Hrtok, I think) drank from the Dyne and survived and Jaegerbrau is made from Dyne water. I think it's more likely that Heterodynes have a 100% chance of surviving the Jaegerbrau, whereas word of god has it that 90% of normal humans who drink jaegerbrau die.PersonalFailurehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03034292023591747601noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1334761054277672365.post-39446332226707927422011-03-11T10:32:40.315-05:002011-03-11T10:32:40.315-05:00Well, Phil is Oggie's great great (great?) gra...Well, Phil is Oggie's great great (great?) grandson, and he seems pretty normal human.

Higgs obviously isn't normal human, though he looks it, and he has quite a friendly relationship with the Jaegers. The sane(ish) part of the Castle kept in the Muse immediately recognized him and respected his desire to remain anonymous, as did the Jaegers. Which really makes you wonder. Neither the Castle nor the Jaegers really strike me as being circumspect.PersonalFailurehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03034292023591747601noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1334761054277672365.post-74259742137264624422011-03-11T10:30:41.224-05:002011-03-11T10:30:41.224-05:00I also get the feeling that the Heterodynes are de...I also get the feeling that the Heterodynes are descended from Jaegermonsters, it was kind of hinted at when they saw the source of the Castle's power.BeamStalkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17772110446629492132noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1334761054277672365.post-37990816861923740872011-03-11T10:24:42.720-05:002011-03-11T10:24:42.720-05:00I'd put my money on Enhanced Human, personally...I'd put my money on Enhanced Human, personally.

Girl Genius in general?
