Plus, if you raise them in a Proper Christian Environment (note: not actually the same as parenting), you've created more souls for Jesus! As a bonus, you get to show all those other parents how much better you (and your kids) are!

Pardon me. I have to go rinse my tongue, now... with Lye. And possibly hydrochloric acid, just for good measure.

For a more serious answer... I don't know why you'd have kids if you didn't want to actually parent them. I tend to think that in those cases, you'd be much better off *not* having kids. Even for those of us who really enjoy being parents, it's a lot of work - and since the job requires caring for other, helpless human beings, I tend to think that you should only sign up if you're going to do the job well. That's not easy if you don't enjoy the job in the first place.Michael Mockhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06233321050691782148noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1334761054277672365.post-30332622864088265342010-07-07T04:18:44.831-04:002010-07-07T04:18:44.831-04:00alright, A) if you make the children half machine,...alright, A) if you make the children half machine, then when they're annoying, can't you just turn them off?
and B) what the HELL is the point of having children if you don't want to parent? this is ***NOT*** me being mean to *YOU*, Michael - it's a question i force myself to not articulate at least a dozen times a day...denelianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08083149213773118359noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1334761054277672365.post-16385155350106720242010-07-07T04:18:44.832-04:002010-07-07T04:18:44.832-04:00This comment has been removed by the author.denelianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08083149213773118359noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1334761054277672365.post-81187013305395265472010-07-06T16:32:27.160-04:002010-07-06T16:32:27.160-04:00Nonsense!
