  1. OK, that is awesome. Mind if I borrow it?

  2. Ooh hey: PZ Myers seems to have adopted your style of critique, PF.

    I Get Email, Pharyngula

I don't think I've seen him this snarky in a while.

  3. It's the surgery PZ had. Both my mother and my MIL had surgery to unblock severely clogged arteries and after a week, it became obvious how mentally dulled they had become due to the blockages. It was like their IQs had increased 40 points each.

  5. I do wonder what DM's audience is.

The arguments are generally based on insane nuttery, but said supporters wouldn't likely visit blogs such as these because they will likely challenge their faith.

Atheists certainly won't be swayed by DM rants either because it's just several pagefuls of sheer nonsense that nobody but a heavily religious person would appreciate, which we've already established would be highly unlikely to be reading this site anyways.

In short DM, what is your motivation? Regardless of your view, i can't see any benefit from your rants for EITHER side, everyone just ends up stupider from having to suffer such idiocy

  6. Love the post. Comments on this one are kinda funky, though. Is that an ongoing problem?

  7. Hey, DM actually responded in a... coherent, I guess... manner! Still crazy, though.
(Also, see above for a correct use of the ellipsis, DM. Use it for good, never for evil.)

  8. Nance - Dennis Markuze (occasionally Dave Mabuse) is an unhinged theist and troll who likes to frequent skeptical blogs and post long, rambling rants that apparently make sense in the moist and shadowed corners of what he laughingly calls a "mind."

He used to frequent the higher-profile blogs, but has been systematically banned from each of them in turn. PF should take it as a compliment (??) that he's trolling here. I guess.

  10. Wow, apparently I shouldn't have explained who he was - he cross-posted this over in my house.

He rests safely in my spam filter for now - I'm thinking I need to dissect this batch of crazy, just for fun.

I wonder if this is the only message he posts out there, and just occasionally adds more chunks of lunacy to it, as they crawl through his tiny mind...

  11. Nice, a little site devoted to critically looking at (?) Christianity. Then, the first thing that pops up on the right side of the screen is a sign, begging for cash. This site and the televangelists do have more in common than we thought.

Comments are for you guys, not for me. Say what you will. Don't feel compelled to stay on topic, I enjoy it when comments enter Tangentville or veer off into Non Sequitur Town. Just keep it polite, okay?

I am attempting to use blogger's new comment spam feature. If you don't immediately see your comment, it is being held in spam, I will get it out next time I check the filter. Unless you are Dennis Markuze, in which case you're never seeing your comment.
