Blogroll Updates

I've added a number of sites to my blogroll recently, which I know is quite overlong, but I would enjoy it if you took a little time to check them out. Unfortunately, I'm going through a severe fatigue thing, so I've forgotten specifically whom I've added. So, if you wouldn't mind, please let me know if I added you recently (or let me know if you think I should add you or someone else) and I'll post a list of new addees. (Just leave a comment.)

I did just now add Sadly, No!. High-larious! (How did I miss that up until now?) Check it out. Oh, and I added Jem-something this morning, but, like I said, severe fatigue thing and I'm all fuzzy-headed. Sorry about that.

  1. Amongst irreligion blogs, I am surprised you don't have Unreasonable Faith. Dwindling in Unbelief is run by the same guy who created the Skeptics' Annotated Bible. There's also Pharyngula and Dispatches from the Culture Wars. Shakesville covers a lot of topics but is a good feminist blog, as is Echidne of the Snakes. Eschaton and the Daily Kos are really partisan.

Don't add this to your blogroll, but if you're in a debunking mood this wingnut blog has a plentiful supply of things to refute.

As for other blogs, perhaps you ought to shorten your blogroll by removing blogs that have not been updated in ages. For example, Protolobsis has not had a post since August 6, 2008.

Of course, I'm not suggesting you add all or even any of these blogs; I'm just making suggestions. If you want more ideas, look at the blogrolls of your blogroll or of my suggestions.

  2. And yes, I hope you're feeling better and less tired, tomorrow.

  3. I seem to be slightly less befuddled today. I do have Pharyngula in my blogroll, but it shows up as something generic, like "science blog". I don't know if that's weirdness with blogger or with Pharyngula's host.

Thanks for the suggestions, I am checking them out. I need to clean up my blogroll for sure, but they don't show up in my editor the way they show up in my blogroll, so it's a little hard to tell what I'm deleting. And I'm a little lazy.

  4. LOL don't add mine, it's a useless blog to written to amuse myself. But if I come up with anything of interest to you, please feel free to tear it apart just for the fun of it, I'd love that.

I'm new to blogging and I've checked out a few on your roll but I don't want to comment on to many cause I can't keep track of where I've posted ;P

Keep at it, I love reading your posts :)

  6. You've been on my blogroll since the beginning, dear. You come up as content warning for some reason. I don't know why and I can't fix it, which sucks, because I really like your blog.

To make it up to you, I will indeed pimp Wil Wheaton.

  7. Hehehe, well if you pimp Wil then all is well!
Tha's is strange that I get flagged like that. i wonder if it's because of my language, because I don't think I talk about anything really off color.
I'm also wondering if I can fix it on my end.
    Hmmmm.

  8. Do you mean how it makes you push a button before you enter?

I put that on my blog, it's something you can select. I figure it lets people know they're entering a very disturbed blog ;P

Comments are for you guys, not for me. Say what you will. Don't feel compelled to stay on topic, I enjoy it when comments enter Tangentville or veer off into Non Sequitur Town. Just keep it polite, okay?

I am attempting to use blogger's new comment spam feature. If you don't immediately see your comment, it is being held in spam, I will get it out next time I check the filter. Unless you are Dennis Markuze, in which case you're never seeing your comment.
