sedition, treason, teabag, teabagging, tea party, glenn, beck, asshat, stupid,
Glenn Beck, he of the new twinkie defense, has called for all the "right wing cells" to get together and plot some more teaparties, or something, but he doesn't just want anyone to attend We Surround You Friday. Oh, no. He does not want atheists.
The second of Glenn Beck's Nine Principles makes that abundantly clear:
2. I believe in God and He is the Center of my Life.

Comments are for you guys, not for me. Say what you will. Don't feel compelled to stay on topic, I enjoy it when comments enter Tangentville or veer off into Non Sequitur Town. Just keep it polite, okay?
I am attempting to use blogger's new comment spam feature. If you don't immediately see your comment, it is being held in spam, I will get it out next time I check the filter. Unless you are Dennis Markuze, in which case you're never seeing your comment.

I love Accidental Historian. I just spent way too much time on his site reading. And his take on this is very very well written and makes perfect sense.
ReplyDeleteI ran into Geds on the Slacktivist's site, and I was thrilled when he started his own blog. No way could I have explained that issue as well as he did.
ReplyDeleteWoah, easy on the capital letters Mr. Beck! I mean, I Believe in frodo And he IS the centeR of My Life Too, but that Doesn-capitalized apostrophe-t Mean I'm allowed to Capitalize whatever the Fuck I want To.
ReplyDeleteIt's getting to the point where I'm more pissed off by the abuse of English than I am the abuse of logic, democracy, atheists, women and gays. I think it's some sort of defense mechanism.
